Letter For Hulu--Please Protect the Family!

I emailed this letter to Hulu.com today in hopes that it will make a difference. I am a big believer in standing up for ourselves and our hopes for our children.

Dear Huluvians:

We really appreciate your service. Honestly, you keep us up on the newest shows that come out.  You give us topics to talk about with complete strangers with the phrase, "Did you see that show last night?"  You keep us laughing with the comedies, enthralled with the mysteries, dramatized by the dramas, etc.  We pretty much love you.

That said, we want our children to be able to watch the shows too or to find content they will like and share with their friends.  Bu-u-u-t we don't want them [or us--added after I reviewed the letter again and saw I had not added it it before] viewing pornographic--as in sexually explicit, nude or nearly nude photos on your site.

As much as we love you and appreciate your service, we must preserve our children's innocence. Please help by removing pornographic things from the home page and suggestion pages--or make it so that we can sign in and remove such images or genres on our own so our dear ones don't have to see it.  For example, the one right now that is most offensive is [for the purpose of the blog I don't even want to post it] If there is a way to remove that from your home page, please let us know.

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,
Hulu-admirers--usually
VDG Family
