Dreams Can Come True--with a lot of work and determination

I've been filming. I will show you the short movie--my first--when it is done and I feel okay about it all.  Right now I am only showing it to family and a few close friends that ask me right out to see it (so if you want to see the works so far, let me know).
As you can see, Erika and her whole family helped. A. helped by holding the boom microphone (he did super--thanks A!).  Ben was a great assistant director/microphone holder helper.  He was really great at keeping us all focused.  And Erika was a great actor!  She was just how I imagined her part--which is the part of a neighbor of my grandfather when he was little (played by you, T).
Then the next Monday, Daddy helped us film in another place 20 miles away.  In the movie it seems like a short walk--ah, the beauty of cinematography.
To those who will be seeing it, please do not expect something you'll see in a movie theater, because it is not near that point.
We had to film several places and on the second filming day it was so warm that it was the shortest filming day of all.
I hope you enjoyed making the film, kidlets.  Remember it is a learning process and we're doing it to learn together and come closer as a family. Right now we are focusing on filming stories from our ancestors.

Also, it is a dream of mine that I have had for several years and it feel so great to do what I have wanted to do for so long.  It is also so nice to have friends that will drop everything and help.  I feel so blessed!

Life Happening

Blogging may be a little sporadic the next few days.   Life is happening and I'll let you know more.  Also the date on the photo above is wrong.

St. George Weekend Family Reunion

Let's dive right in, shall we?  This last week we went to St. George, Utah for a family reunion.  It was so fun.  We had a great time swimming, hiking, etc.
T, you loved playing with C. and B. The ones being delightedly thrown into the pool.
I couldn't get enough of the cheery smiles of the newly weds, C. and J. above.
 B. kept us laughing and was so great with the kidlets.  He even did a musical number dedicated to you, R.

Grammers doted on you all.  The food was delicious and the company so happy.
Grandpa helped you all swimming. K, you weren't so happy about leaving the arms of mom and dad.
R, you were the oldest grandson and were included in many of the older-kid activities.  You even stayed up late playing the board game Risk.  You loved it and spent the next day asking if they would play it again with you.
T, nearly every smile you gave us looked like this.
Aunt T is going to have a baby in a few weeks.  She was taking photos of everyone.
It was so fun to see everyone laughing together. Daddy had so much fun too!

Happy Updates

So glad I have you, W!  You make me happy! K, you are such a dearie. You started clapping by yourself today and you can now climb onto the bed whenever you are crawling about.  You love standing by the window, looking outside.  You have one of the most endearing smiles I have ever seen.  R, you are loving the Fablehaven books.  You'll go and read for hours.  S, you love your friends.  T, you are determined to connect us all through any and every electronic device we own. . . you have been quite successful at it.

Bridgeport Mall

The day after it was so warm a few weeks and we went to the Bridgeport mall for dinner.  We got to try the delicious crepes, Korean tacos, and pizza.  It was pretty fun. We got outfits for the filming . . . which is nearly ready. Hooray!

So grateful for you!

Your school hosted a sample Taekwondo class for a reasonable price.  You had a great time.

R, kindly agreed to hold the board because I was holding you, K.

T's Photography

What you are doing here I have no idea (didn't that sound very Brooklyn-ish).  It looks like you're hitchhiking.
This is after we went and got dinner.
 And went to See's candy.
You were obviously thrilled to get a sample.

Dear T:  This was the week that I used the photos from your camera.  Most of these are photos of that you have taken throughout the week.
You are getting pretty good at those selfies.

You got pretty good at setting the timer and getting yourself in the photos.

You made sure to even take your camera with you to your playdate.
